Members of the Aztek Fan Club and the Metro Detroit Aztek Club are putting together a Get ToGether on August 19th though the 21st, 2005.
 
Friday the 19th we are planning on meeting at the Yogi Bear Campground at Grange Hall Road and I-75 in Holly, MI.  It will be just an informal gathering around the campfire.  Activites start at 5:00 p.m. and will continue until 11:00 p.m.
 
Saturday the 20th we are gathering at Newfie Hauler's home near Davisburg, MI.  We are planning a variety of acivities ranging from Aztek "Teknical" Training to Cruising.  We ask that you bring a dish to pass, something to put on the grill  and your own beverages.  For further details please contact Newfie Hauler through the Aztek Fan Club Website at www.aztekfanclub.com .  I have more details posted there in the Rally Forum under the heading Central U.S. Rally - Metro Detroit GTG.

Our first gathering was a success (11:30- 1:30 on September 27th). We had 6 Azteks show up.  We told stories about our various 'Teks.  One unique owner accidentally broke his rear spoiler and caped the holes with small red reflectors.  It looked good.  See Stick's Family Aztek.jpg  His was the most customized.

Other than that we helped each other by explaining how to do something.  Example was that you can remove the spare tire without removing the cargo tray.

We are trying to organize another gathering on Oct 25th.  Nothing is firm yet, though.  It would be the same thing.  Just getting together to talk for a couple hours over lunch.  We are also creating a logo.
