Part of the Underground

I haven't been around hardly at all lately...been busy working on film stuff.  We're actually making headway with one of our projects, and are currently in budget talks with some production companies.  Me and my partners at Eris Films are making a horror comedy full length feature film called Midget Chainsaw Zombie.  It started out as just a side project for a film festival competition...then we won the competition, then some interest from production studios actually began to surface.  In one month it has gone from a "hey, wouldnt this be cool if" project to a "holy crap, this is really gonna happen" project.  We've been scouting locations for scenes, securing agreements with business owners, etc.  Anyway, the film is going to be made for (hopefully) theatrical release, we start shooting next summer sometime, and the budget we're looking at will put us on par with Shaun of the Dead.

All that aside...here's why I'm posting this message.  There was a scene in the movie that involved 20 Hummer H2's driving through a gigantic horde of zombies - I am one of the writers on the project, and I got my partners to agree that it would actually be funnier and possibly even more memorable if it were 30 Azteks.  Its somethign thats never been done.  We want some memorable scenes, like in the movie Dead Alive - if youve ever seen it, you would probably think "oh yeah, the lawnmower scene".  In Grindhouse, Planet Terror it would probably be the girl with a machine gun for a leg or the helicopter chopping people down scene.  In our movie we want one of those scenes to be the "30 Pontiac Azteks mowing down a thousand zombies" scene.

So, my question to you all is - if you would like to be an extra in a horror comedy zombie movie (as driver) of your own Aztek, A) would you be interested.  and cool if so, would you be willing to drive to Kansas in summer 2008 to be in it?

Our needs - (at least) 20 Azteks, preferably 30.  The scene involves a rental car company lot, and I want all the vehicles to be Azteks.  Zombies are swarming into Kansas City, and some employees and patrons are holed up inside the rental car offices.  Anyone who tries to get out is killed.  So they decide to take all the keys off the wall to every Aztek on the lot to escape and there is a mass exodus, gore-filled scene of Azteks chopping down crowds of extras and dummy zombies that will be filmed from multiple levels including by helicopter overhead.  Any out-of-the-ordinary Azteks would probably get some extra film time, primarily the General Lee (hi Elisha).

If I get enough interest in this from the Aztek Fanclub's membership, I will get it set in stone that we are going to do it with Teks.  Otherwise I have to go with Hummers (there's a major Hummer dealership here in KC).  So, who's interested and who thinks they could actually make a drive all the way to Kansas City?  We aren't able to pay for extras or for use of your vehicle, and primary "film credits" would be in the Special Thanks section of the film credits and our websites and marketing campaigns in the name of "AztekFanClub.com membership".

Thoughts?  Gripes?  Anyone interested?  I have to get at least a rough estimate headcount of those that are pretty sure they could do this by probably end of November-mid December 2007 to prove I can get it set up to my partners.  Let me know!  If you want info on our company, its at www.erisfilms.com, but there isn't much info up there about the film (this is on purpose).  Its being set up mostly underground, then sometime next Spring the world is going to know about the film.

I need 20 pretty good "affirmatives" for me to set this up.  More than that is pure gravy.

EDIT: I will answer any questions anyone has.  Just let me know.  I know this is a big decision.
